God Loves People, But He Hates The 700 Club
(God's Holy Spirit Power is Not For Sale!)

By David J. Stewart | May 2019

Acts 8:20, “But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.”

God Loves People, But He Hates The 700 Club (1) GOD'S POWER IS NOT FOR SALE!!! There is not a more deceptive, ungodly and exploitive organization than THE 700 CLUB. When Simon (a former sorcerer) attempted to purchase the power of God, Peter effectively told him “GO TO HELL!” ...

Acts 8:17-20, “Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost. And when Simon saw that through laying on of the apostles' hands the Holy Ghost was given, he offered them money, Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost. But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.”

These wicked people in The 700 CLUB are con artists! They know exactly what to say to soften the hearts of suffering people to get their money. The ungodly 700 CLUB took in $570,285,000[1] in revenues for 2018. That's well over A HALF BILLION DOLLARS! This demonstrates the incredible power of the media. God is fully against exploiting Christianity to make filthy lucre! The apostle Peter knew immediately that it was VERY WRONG for Simon to think that he could purchase the power of God with money. Likewise, it is evil what Pat Roberson, Gordon Robertson, Terri Meeuwsen and crew are doing, taking advantage of hurting, suffering and afflicted people.

I encourage you dear reader to use the brain which God gave you—The 700 Club ALWAYS make claims of people with ailments that cannot be seen. For example: They make fake claims of people with arthritis, brain tumors, sore backs, diseases, et cetera—but it is ALWAYS unverifiable people in Tv land! You'll NEVER see an amputee grow a new leg or arm. And then there are another group of people, who call or write into the show, making claims of being healed (or loved ones being healed), but again, there is no visible proof that The 700 Club had something to do with it. God NEVER heals someone to facilitate making someone filthy rich! What Pat Robertson and crew are doing is no different than what Simon tried to do—buying the power of the Holy Spirit!

May I say, there is NO SUCH THING today as “A WORD OF KNOWLEDGE!” Charismatics pervert the true meaning of the gifts of the Spirit. The Bible teachings that some people have a gift of “knowledge” and others a gift of “wisdom” in the churches. 1st Corinthians 12:8, “For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit.” Whatever gift that a believer has, we are all indwelt by the same blessed Holy Spirit. The word of knowledge was simply someone uncommonly learned in the Scriptures. Some people have the Holy Spirit gift of wisdom, uncommonly wise. Evangelist Lester Roloff was a man of uncommon faith, who inspired all of us to move higher in our Christian lives.

I TAKE MY GOOD WORKS AND MY BAD WORKS! ...I remember reading the response of a godly man, when on his deathbed, to his friends who spoke of the many good works he had performed. ... “Good works! good works!” said the dying man, “I take my good works and my bad works, and cast them into one heap out of my sight, and turn to my only hope-the Cross of Christ!” —Evangelist Thomas Guthrie(1803-1873)

“The evil that is in the world almost always comes of ignorance, and good intentions may do as much harm as malevolence if they lack understanding.”

—Philosopher Albert Camus (1913-1960)

Hebrews 1:1, “God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”

There are wise people, there are fools, and then there is the average normal person which the Old Testament book of Proverbs calls, the “simple” person. Proverbs 1:22, “How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?” Proverbs 8:5, “O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.” God desires for simple people to become wise.

Every believer is encouraged to pray to God for wisdom. James 1:5-8, “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”

Here is a sample of the lies told by The 700 Club—Terri Meeuwsen sinfully says:

“Someone else, you have sore gums, like even the, just the bones around your teeth are sore; God is healing that for you completely, you're not going to lose your teeth. You're not going to have any kind of disease there. God is healing you, in jesus name.”

Pat Robertson is a LIAR! Inthis segment of The 700 Show, he quotes Zacharias 4:6b, “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD.” But then Pat no sooner quotes this portion of Scripture, then he and Terri start pimping God's power for filthy lucre. Everything that they do on The 700 Club is carefully scripted ahead of time, in Hollywood fashion, using human psychology to manipulate you, the viewer, so that they WILL GET YOUR MONEY!!!

Their method is fool-proof, as seen by the unbelievable amount of money donated to them! Terry Meeuwsen has a net worth of $20,000,000! Why does a “servant of God” want or need that kind of money? These people on The 700 Club are BASTARDS! They are illegitimate. Let me ask you a simple question—If you were knowledgeable of religion, and a thief, would you rather make millions of dollars each year for a salary by exploiting naive people, or work hard in a local business for under $50,000 a year?

That is why I also expose Ken Ham as a fraud, who took in $36,000,000 last year from his Answers In Genesis scam! Ken Ham knows the right religious words, which he knows the majority of naive churches will agree with and gobble up, andfoolish pastors like Dr. Clarence Sexton invite, honor and promote con artists like Ken Ham!!!

It is truly shameful. Pastor Sexton is mellowing out in his ministry, instead of standing against these new evangelical imposters who exploit the churches for filthy lucre!!! Sinful compromise always brings in more financial support! It makes me frustrated.

The 700 Club exploit simple people, that is, average everyday people. Humbly, I have been studying God's Word for 39 years, and I have never seen anything in the Bible about Christians having omniscient and omnipotent powers.

You are correct that God can do anything, but NO ONE has the power to see other people being healed through clairvoyance (i.e., the power to perceive things that are not present to the senses).

Please do not be deceived! Remember, even the Devil (i.e., Satan, Lucifer) comes as an angel of light according to 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

Pat Robertson and Terri Meeuwsen do not have the ability to sense who is being healed, seeing someone's tumor disappearing, or knowing that disease won't set into someone's gums. They are arrogant to make such bizarre claims. We know that the prayer of faith can heal the sick according to James, but only if it is God's will. No one has a right to usurp God's power, let alone selling it like Simon the sorcerer.

The 700 Club exploit suffering people to get their money, which is how they were able to sucker people out of $570,000,000 last year! Their damnation slumbereth not (2nd Peter 2:1-3). They make merchandise of people, preying upon human weakness, offering their victims health, wealth and prosperity in exchange for their donations.

2nd Peter 2:3, "And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not." Hell is coming up to meet them!

There is no scam like religion! I mean, The 700 Club take in BILLIONS OF DOLLARS accumulatively over the years. 570,000,000 in 2018! That's over 5,000,000,000 in 10 years!!! FIVE BILLIONS DOLLARS! What a racket!

These ungodly deceivers make all that money by preying upon the sick, lonely, unemployed, elderly and destitute of society, taking their money! May I say, kindly but truthfully with all Biblical confidence, that GOD'S POWER IS NOT FOR SALE!!!

1st John 4:1, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether
they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.”

I watched five of their 700 Club shows today on YouTube. In each show toward the end they do something really heart-touching—like buying a water filters for a poor Chinese family, or buying a house for a poor Mexican family—I doubt if the total amount cost more than $20,000.

That's like me making ten million dollars from some religious scam, and then giving my victims a nickel and bragging about how wonderful I am! The 700 Club are devils. I have been exposing Pat Robertson for 17 years now.

The Devil knows that the BEST PLACE to hide a LIE is between TWO TRUTHS! That is why so many millions of people fall for Benny Hinn, Ken Ham, Pat Robertson, Ravi Zacharias, Billy Graham, and other unrighteous ministers who exploit Christianity for filthy lucre's sake—because they use THE TRUTH to deceive people, which hides their LIES. If in fact any of them correctly preached the Gospel, then Satan would hate them and expose them!

Pat Robertson is exploiting Christianity to make money, which is wicked to do! Ken Ham does the same thing! A minister means "servant." Jesus said, "he that is greatest among you shall be your servant." Pat Robertson serves himself. During the Prohibition Years (1919-1933), Al Capone was a big name gangster in Chicago, who made filthy lucre from all manner of crime and sin.

Al Capone opened food kitchens around Chicago during The Great Depression, and handed out clothing to the needy. The people loved Al Capone! Pat Robertson is nothing more than a modern-day Al Capone in the spiritual realm. They are criminals in God's eyes, for promoting false teachings and taking advantage of the ignorance of suffering people, but they do good works TO BE SEEN OF MEN, as a cover for their wickedness.

Here is Pat Robertson flashing a Masonic occult hand sign...
